

When I was framing a needlework gift at Michael’s recently, a young woman asked me, “How long did it take you to do this?” I said, “All my life”. As an artist, that is true. I started drawing calligraphy in high school. Although I was encouraged to go into art, I studied journalism instead. So, yes. I found embroidery two years ago. I didn’t like it, so I created my own. And “needlework” was born.
