Creating the gift for Mike & Teresa was a labor of love. Before anyone mentioned “the war on men”, my boys faced adversity for being brilliant, creative, and communicative about all the corporate greed going on with H1B visas, etc. I decided to support my boys unconditionally, regardless of what our culture said. Mike and Teresa came along beside us and provided work for my boys.
At first, I thought the dove would be too hard, because it is white. But my sister encouraged me to give “the customer what they want”. Mom sent me a card that helped me get the look I was looking for. Then, the trial-and-error process began related to the dove. Finally, the dove emerged. The scripture presented its own challenge. But with the help of a seamstress master, it all came together. Don’t you think?
Galatians 5: 22-23 says:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Mike & Teresa embodied that for Team Edelen. We are eternally grateful.
