I have always been fascinated by each cell of liquid in the segment of a mandarin. “Could I recreate that in thread?” was my challenge. Everything starts with a drawing, of course. Then, selecting the thread colors and finally sewing.
What amazes me about planet Earth is that God created our home in seven days. It would have taken me an eternity to just sketch it out! When life gets overwhelming for me, I escape to Edelen Acres and marvel at the incredibly detailed beauty of my earthly home.
